We held a booth this annual conference that was held in Kamaishi, Iwate prefecture on November 6 and 7, 2021.
Around 100 participants, including government employees, politicians the media, and local citizens, had their footprints taken.
Participants gave positive feedbacks and said,
“I did not know that footprints could be an effective tool in identifiying individuals. I think this is a very good approach.”,
“I do not like getting my fingerprints taken, but I have no qualms about giving my footpringts.”, and
“I think footprints will hep identify unidentified persons.”
